After breakfast, we suggest that our guests head to the Jerónimos Monastery, located in Praça do Império. This iconic monument, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a stunning example of Manueline architecture. A visit to the interior of the church and the cloister will provide a rich cultural and historical experience.
3 – Belém Tower
Next, a short walk will take you to the Belém Tower, one of Lisbon’s most iconic monuments and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We suggest that our guests climb to the top to enjoy a panoramic view over the Tagus River.
Afternoon
4 – Lunch at Mercado da Ribeira
For lunch, we suggest a visit to Mercado da Ribeira, also known as Time Out Market, on Avenida 24 de Julho. This vibrant space offers a wide selection of typical Portuguese dishes, prepared by some of the city’s best chefs.
5 – Stroll through Chiado and Bairro Alto
After lunch, a stroll through Chiado and Bairro Alto is highly recommended. In Chiado, guests can explore elegant shops, visit the historic Livraria Bertrand and enjoy the artistic atmosphere of the neighborhood. Heading up to Bairro Alto, they can experience the bohemian charm of Lisbon, with its narrow streets and picturesque buildings.
6 – Santa Justa Lift
You can’t miss the Santa Justa Lift, an engineering masterpiece, to enjoy a magnificent view over the historic centre of Lisbon.
Evening
7 – Dinner in Alfama To end the day, a dinner in Alfama, accompanied by live fado music, provides an unforgettable cultural experience.
